Reiki & Meditation
Meditation reminds us of our source and where our strength comes from in the face of grief and loss. Closing one’s eyes and going deeper within brings one to a place of healing and peace. Whether it is a simple breathing meditation or one that takes us on a guided journey, one gets an opportunity to join as one with their Healing Self. In this place comes intuition and answers to many questions that arise through loss. When the meditation session concludes, the person rises up feeling refreshed and ready to once again face the day. Meditation offers even deeper healing in ways that are beyond explanation. It isn’t unusual to experience the loving presence of the lost loved one in meditation. There are many CDs and meditation instructors available that could help to facilitate this practice.
Reiki is a gentle touch modality that has been quite effective in lifting the veils of separation between the person left behind by the loss of a loved one. In the openness of receiving loving Reiki, the person feels lighter and the burdens seem to float out and away without having to do anything except “be”. Emotions purge and the person is able to see out from the sea of pain to a blessed place where the healing can begin. On occasion, like in meditation, the loving presence of the person who has passed may be felt during the session. There are so many benefits of Reiki healing; many of them emotional as well as relief from stress and anxiety. It is best to use a certified and credentialed Reiki practitioner.
Should you need more information on either of these healing modalities, you may contact certified Reiki master and meditation teacher, Judi Talit, at Healing Alternatives (516) 248-4336.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_widget_sidebar sidebar_id=”sidebar”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
