The 12th annual COPE Walk on Sunday, September 14th, is a day to honor your loved one and also to reach out to family and friends. The day is filled with hugs from others who understand and care.

If you’ve walked with us in the past, you know how meaningful it is having the support of each other on a day that is solely dedicated to our children and siblings. If you haven’t walked with us in the past, the Long Beach boardwalk with its surf, sand and sky is a beautiful and peaceful setting in which to cherish your memories.

Creating a “team” for your child or sibling enables friends to support you as you walk for your loved one. This is something that my family has done. If our friends and family are unable to attend, they can still support our “team Juls” on a dedicated Razoo page that we’ve created in honor of my daughter, Michelle. It will be a special opportunity to connect with people who were important in her life and have been so caring and supportive to my family. You can visit our family’s page to see what we’ve done. If this is something that inspires you, we’re here to help. Contact Karen. Or see the paragraph on the COPE Walk BELOW.

The COPE Walk is an event that brings us a little bit closer to our children and siblings because so many of their friends and family are speaking their names and thinking of them. Take advantage of this day to let the people in your life show you their love and support.
