“If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.” – Winnie the Pooh

It’s been a year this month that my family and I lost my brother Ralphie. Not a second goes by that we don’t miss and love him. The love, joy, and laughter he was able to bring to anyone who knew him was amazing. He could walk into any room and light it up with his smile.

Everything about my brother was one of a kind. Not only was he my big brother but he was my best friend. Close was an understatement. The bond him and I had was unbreakable. I feel honored to had the privilege of being his baby sister. He taught me the power of unconditional love and for that I’m forever grateful. The memories of us are something I’ll cherish forever. All the jokes we had, all the plans we had, it will all continue through me. For the rest of my life I promise to do the things we planned to do. I will do them for you because I know you would do the same for me. It’s a sibling thing. A forever thing.

We love you so much Ralphie. You will never be forgotten. May you forever be in peace. Until we meet again. All our love,

Krissy, Mom and Dad.
