Support Groups

Parent Support Group – COPE Parent Support Group Meetings take place on:

  • The 1st Monday of the month at the Merrick Jewish Center
  • Two Mondays per month in East Meadow at the COPE House in Eisenhower Park (Field 6A)
  • One Tuesday evening per month at the COPE House in Eisenhower Park.
  • On Thursdays evenings (2x/month) on the North Shore at the Jericho and Syosset libraries
  • The second Wednesday of the month at the Chai Center in Dix Hills
  • The second Tuesday of the month in Manhattan

Our support group meetings are facilitated by licensed social workers and run from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. or 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
COPE also offers Spirituality Groups for those parents and siblings interested in this type of support.

Sibling Support Group – COPE Sibling Support Group Meetings take place on:

One Saturday once a month for adult siblings in New York City (11:00am – 12:30pm) and
One Monday evening per month (usually the 4th Monday) in East Meadow at the COPE House in Eisenhower Park (Field 6A).
