COPE offers regular workshops or workshop series facilitated by individuals with personal and professional experience with grief and loss, including bereaved family members, mental health practitioners, or therapists in the creative arts or healing professions.

Workshops are open to the community and are designed to educate families on how to cope with their loss through normalizing grief feelings or responses, providing tools for support and healing, and to offer community for those feeling isolated or alone in their grief experience.

Past workshop topics include:

Parenting the Resilient Grieving Child, Supportive Grieving Loved Ones, Transforming Pain into Purpose, Nature-based Practice for Grief, Coping with the Holidays, Moving Forward as a Surviving Family, Intersection of Art and Loss, Healing through Music, Yoga for Grief, and Havening.

Please check our Upcoming Events page or see below for upcoming workshops.

  • Email info@copefoundation.org for more information.
  • Workshop registration is through Eventbrite.
  • Workshops are free to attend and like all of COPE’s programs are sustained through your generous donations.
