My sister Eileen Gilday passed away on May 1st to join her husband Buddy, her daughter Eileen Sullivan, her son Kevin Gilday, and two full term babies who died in the 9th month of pregnancy.
I used to drive Eileen to COPE meetings in East Meadow. Ed Paley, the social worker, was so compassionate and helpful. Eileen loved him and the group.
Eileen leaves six surviving children, twenty two grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
On behalf of the family I want to thank COPE for supporting Eileen in her grief journey. It’s a comfort to know Eileen will never feel the pain of grief again.
