Physiology First: A Body Centered Approach to Grief

When someone we love dies, it rocks our world. Grief hits you like a ton of bricks. If you do not start dealing with it, it can get imbedded in the cells of your body. When this happens, it can lead to an array of physical disruptions; loss of sleep, too much sleep, digestive issues, loss of focus, and an inability to concentrate, just to name a few.

In this 60 minute interactive workshop, you will learn how to release grief from the cells of your body. In this 3 step process, you will become aware of where you are in your grief, change your state and create a new identity for yourself. From this reframing how you look at your grief, you will have some new tools and strategies to be able to move forward in your grief while managing your physical, emotional and mental well-being.

He travels nationally & internationally leading classes, workshops, retreats and educating about the way grief is stored in the body. And, how to release it..

In June of 1998, he lost his sister Lauren in a car accident. Knowing that he needed more than talk therapy to deal with his griefJason turned toward a body centered approach. Yoga, meditation, mindfulness, healthy lifestyle and essential oils became that path towards recovery.

In his Somatic Grief Therapy, Jason believes in physiology first when dealing with grief. The issues are trapped in the tissues. When we change our physical state, we have the energy to do the mental and emotional work needed to bring hope back into our lives.
