“Awaken Your Senses” by Christine Cherpak

Dear Fellow Grieving Siblings,

New beginnings! Welcoming a New Year without your loved one is likely a challenge for you. You might not be able to see the New Year’s seed of promise. It is okay: being in touch with your emotions is most important. Regardless of how dark your life may appear, please know that there is light and possibility for growth. This is the magic of life—times change, seasons come and go, and circumstances occur. Unlike a renowned piece of art, you are still on your potter’s wheel.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions and/or comments. And do not hesitate to let me know if I can be of any assistance. Also, consider submitting your own work of art as a feature for one of our monthly pieces. Establishing a memorial foundation in honor of your loved one is also a work of creation. If you would like your organization to be highlighted be sure to provide us with the details! I wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year filled with blessings, hope, and light.

AD LUCEM,

Christine

MEDITATION:

Waking up to a fairytale winter wonderland reminds us of what little control we have in life, whether for better or worse. This winter, embrace the glistening hope offered by blankets of snow. Rather than seeking tracks, make them. The trail behind you will provide you with assurance that your loved one is with you in each moment and assists you during your metamorphosis. Fields of snow represent the future filled with promise because its origin is infused with your loved one. Thank you for sharing and presenting the world with this gift—your loved one’s influences enrich as many countless lives as there are stars in the sky.
