Emily Berg, RN, certified in holistic health and wellness nurse coaching, has a passion for holistic healthcare. Emily takes an approach to wellness that is focused on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual components of health. She uses modalities such as movement, yoga, breathwork, and sound to support and guide you. Please note, props and yoga mats will be provided. Just bring yourself, a water bottle, and ID—check-in at the front desk before going upstairs to the yoga room.

Seasonal Transitions and Grief: A Gathering For All Grievers Spring has arrived! For many of us freshly bloomed flowers, warmer weather, and more social gatherings instill a feeling of excitement and possibility. However, for those who have lost a loved one, this transition can feel counter to the internal experience of anger and despair that so often accompany the grief journey. The exuberance of spring contradicts our feelings of fatigue, hopelessness, and despair. This contradiction can increase our sense of loneliness and our desire to isolate ourselves from others. This workshop is intended to support grievers in connecting to the healing potential of seasonal transitions. Participants will have the opportunity to consider how their grief is transitioning to spring, and to consider ways that the shift of season can provide comfort and a renewed sense of hope. The workshop welcomes participants at all stages of the grief journey and encourages you to come exactly as you are. You can expect opportunities to sit back and reflect, as well as time to share about both your relationship to spring, and your grief journey, with fellow participants. COPE is excited to present a special benefit performance of “The Medium, The Music, and ME!” at BACCA Arts Center in Lindenhurst, NY. In DonnaD Lipari’s autobiographical musical, a medium shares her personal journey, unique but also universal. Freeing her voice from childhood traumas, she embraces her gifts of mediumship and music. Through story and song, Donna reveals secret spiritual truths meant to heal, uplift and enlighten. The show runs 100 minutes without intermission and includes a short segment of live audience readings. Winner of the United Solo 2018 Award for Best Premiere.
