Allowing Nature to Hold Us: Grief and Healing Through Earth Connection

We are excited to offer our first in-person Healing Workshop in partnership with The Shames JCC on the Hudson!

When grieving, people often follow an innate desire to be outdoors, go on long walks, spend time in the garden, or visit the ocean. These instincts to be with Nature are important to follow. Time in wild places, even your yard, is a tonic for a troubled heart. In this 90-minute workshop learn what to do when you’re out there to optimize the healing benefits. You’ll learn simple mindfulness techniques, easy-to-replicate ways to engage your senses, and spiritual connection practices, offering gentle pathways to peace and healing.

When: Thursday, April 13 6:15-7:45 PM

Where: Shames JCC on the Hudson,371 South Broadway Tarrytown, NY 10533

Cost: $5
