Rethinking the Holidays After Loss

Do you dread the holidays because loved ones are no longer around to share them with you? We all know that life is different now. But, what if we could create a new way to celebrate the holidays while keeping all of those wonderful memories close to you?

This interactive workshop focuses on you, your memories and your life so that you can look forward to the holidays with a new perspective.

Materials Needed: All attendees can expect to participate in hands-on activities and will require something to write on or a digital device.

It is the goal of this workshop that all attendees feel a sense of new beginnings and a new perspective on all upcoming holidays.

When: October 25, 7 – 8 PM EST

Where: Online via Zoom

Cost: Free to attend. Register here

Lisa Strahs-Lorenc is a bereavement specialist. She has lived with death her whole life. She lost her biological mother when she was 2, her father when she was 30, her adopted mom when she was 46 and her husband when she was 55. From all of these experiences, she understands that life is precious and makes each day count. She celebrates life, and keeps the memory of all of her loved ones with her in the form of stories, memories, an online memorial and through support books.
