Supporting Children Through Grief and Loss During the COVID-19 Pandemic with COPE’s Clinical Director, Claire Sharkey LCSW
This workshop with COPE’s own Clinical Director will explore the often challenging task of talking to children about grief and loss. It will provide education on the benefits of being open with children, discuss developmentally appropriate ways to talk about death, and share strategies to support bereaved children of all ages. It will draw on past research and address the particular needs of children in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Upon registration, you will be sent a confirmation email. To access the online workshop, it is important to use the Eventbrite reminder emails (one will be sent the day of the event) and log into your Eventbrite account to access the online workshop. Although we use the Zoom platform, Eventbrite emails will grant you access to the Zoom meeting. You will not be sent a Zoom link.
